Introducing Life Forest Sweet Remembrance Chocolate
Why is Life Forest selling chocolate?
What softens grief better than chocolate? We have partnered with Loon Chocolate to create this beautiful offering to heal hearts and offer funds to support our community.
Where does 100% of the net profits go from the sales of these chocolate bars?
LIFE FOREST GUARDIANSHIP BURIAL PROGRAM
One hundred percent of the funds raised by the sale of this chocolate bar are allotted to pay a fair wage to our grave diggers, who have donated much of their time and physical energy without pay to help sustain this program.
The wholesale purchase of 5 cases covers the labor cost of one hand-dug donated burial plot.
Life Forest only sells Sweet Remembrance chocolate bars wholesale and by the case. However, please visit one of our retailers for single chocolate bar purchases!
Why did we choose Loon Chocolate?
Loon Chocolate is a NH-based chocolate maker, not a chocolatier. A chocolate maker starts with the raw cacao bean to make their bar, whereas a chocolatier buys pre-made chocolate to make their product. They can ensure our chocolate is ethically made by starting the process from the cacao bean.
They get their cacao beans whole and stone-grind them for 72 hours. The cacao beans are roasted, shelled, and blended with organic cane sugar and organic cocoa butter. Each bar is individually wrapped by hand for you to enjoy!
All of Loon Chocolate's cacao is ethically sourced. Learn more here: loonchocolate.com
How to Purchase
Currently, our Sweet Remembrance milk chocolate bars are only available wholesale and by the case. There are 12 bars in a case. Shipping and any applicable state tax will be calculated and added to the price of the order.
Who Would Make a Great Reseller?
We strongly feel that small brick-and-mortar businesses would enjoy selling this beautifully crafted chocolate. It would go well in any gift shop, card shop, wine shop, and, of course, any sort of funeral home or place of memorial celebration.
Payment goes directly to Life Forest, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit. The purchase of a case of chocolates is not tax deductible due to a product being exchanged, however, if a purchaser wishes to donate over the wholesale cost of the chocolate bars that overage is considered a donation and a tax deduction letter can be issued.
