Celebration of Life
October 30, 1955 - October 27, 2022
Gary Edward Gilman, 66, of Concord, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Concord Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born on October 30, 1955 in Concord he was the son of the late Gerald (Jake) and Dolores (Brown) Gilman.
Gary worked as a truck driver and also worked in the maintenance field. He worked for Cubic Toll, State of NH Tolls Systems, Walmart Distribution, in Raymond and Rustic Crust, in Pittsfield. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Henri Gaumont, installing real estate signs across the state of New Hampshire. Unfortunately, after his first stroke resulting in partial loss of vision, he could no longer drive. This was very hard for him because he loved driving across the state, talking with people, and being out doors.
Gary was a member of the Corinthian Lodge #82 F&AM, Pittsfield, New Hampshire.
Gary enjoyed making model trains, painting and working with resin. Unfortunately, a series of strokes took his eye sight and the ability to enjoy those hobbies.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (DuBois) of Concord, with whom he shared 42 years. Their daughters, Achrista Gilman of Concord, Elizabeth Lord and her wife Amy of Manchester, and Julie Partridge and her
husband Fred of Belmont. A Brother, Gerald “Gerry” Gilman of Pittsfield and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Kaden Sherman of Concord.
Gary will be missed for the love and affection that he shared daily to his family and friends. Most of all, Gary could make you laugh and he had the best laugh of everyone.
The Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel in Epsom assisted the family with arrangements.
The Life Forest, in Hillsbourgh, NH assisted with a graveside service. The Masonic service was held.
