Stuart Greenzang

Stuart Greenzang, 60, of Jaffrey NH, peacefully passed away on June 16, 2021 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Stu was predeceased by his mother, Toby Greenzang. Stu is survived by his wife, Christina Ricard, his father, Joel Greenzang, his sister, Susan Greenzang, his brother, Michael Greenzang, his neice, Michelle LaFranca, nephews Raphael Greenzang and Austin LaFranca, and stepchildren Paul Ricard and Rachel Ricard.

Stu was a self-taught computer geek, who worked as the IT Guru for major banks in NYC, until he grew weary of the corporate rat race, and decided to go to college, where he majored in Theater. He worked as an actor for several years, traveling around the country, and ending up on the cutting room floor playing an Arab Terrorist fighting Bruce Willis - Stu found that the ultimate irony, a Brooklyn Jew playing an Arab Terrorist. He met his second wife, April Sponagle, and returned to the more stable pursuit of IT work.  After April died unexpectedly in a car accident, Stu and Chris met through an online matchmaking site, and their relationship quickly blossomed - a true soul mate pairing.

Stu will be remembered for his amazing intellect, his encyclopedic knowledge of world history, his love of old monster movies and all things Star Trek, his unique sense of humor, his quick wit, and his loving heart. He gave people his full, undivided attention and listened earnestly, and always offered his best, honest advice. He raged against the inequities of the world, and actively worked to try to make the world a better place for everyone. He held no bias in his heart, and detested bias in others. Stu will be sorely missed by everyone who truly knew him.
